Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Former two time unified title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the novice remains one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, consistently making massive earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As both boxers met for the usual face-off, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really going ahead.
