For those who are subscribed to Amazon Prime and looking forward to the upcoming second season of Fallout, you'll find an excellent chance just for you: The company is offering a new selection of complimentary titles, featuring Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition.
Although it may not be absolutely necessary to grasping the plot of the forthcoming dystopian show, gamers might also want to snag the other Fallout game included in Prime Gaming's October update: the equally impressive and similarly wild Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition. What's more, subscribers get to keep their downloadable games permanently with Prime Gaming, so you can dive in and enjoy at any time.
Upcoming Episodes Details
The newest Fallout season, featuring Ella Purnell as Lucy MacLean and Walton Goggins as the mysterious bounty hunter referred to as The Ghoul, arrives on Prime Video on Dec. 17, with the third season announced to follow. That gives you ample opportunity to jump into Fallout: New Vegas.
Fallout: New Vegas lets you step into all the iconic locations and encounter unique personalities shown in promotional materials for Season 2 and early screenshots.
One of the initial glimpses revealed of the newest season shows Walton Goggins' character, before the apocalypse, arriving at the iconic Lucky 38. Not only is this a actual place explorable in Fallout: New Vegas — you can even trade and play games, if you're feeling lucky — but it's also the headquarters of a key figure in the game: Mr. House.
The Character's Importance
Mr. House was seen briefly in the initial episodes, but he has a major part in the video game as the proprietor of the New Vegas strip. Considering that Lucy, Maximus, and the Ghoul are heading to New Vegas next season, it's all but guaranteed that Mr. House will play a part.
